FORDYCE, Donald Allen - Putnam

Rev. H. D. Trickey conducted a memorial service at the McGaughey Funeral Home at Russellville at 4:00 o'clock Sunday for Lucy FORDYCE born in Greencastle, Indiana who died in August 1942 at Standford, California, age 84 years and also for her son, Donald Allen Fordyce, who died in Spokane, Washington of the age of 28. His ashes have been shipped to Russellville as have those of his mother, for interment in the family lot at Russellville beside the grave of her husband and father, Dr. JH Fordyce who died in Dec 1908 at Wichita, KS. Though their deaths occurred in such widely separated spots of the earth, they are united in the family plot in Russellville.
